Earth to Ocean is part of the PCS Group. We are based in the village of Hamble on the south coast and use our extensive sustainability experience to offer services around natural resource management, environmental consultancy, management consultancy, business development, strategic planning, event management and on the ground practical implementation. Our core team works closely with a number of specialist associates.
Susie Tomson has a PhD in Integrated Coastal Management, an MSc in Water and Environmental Management and is an Associate of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (AIEMA). She has worked as a coastal zone management consultant, marine park manager, harbour board member and environmental advisor. Susie is the founder of Earth to Ocean and Sustainability Director of our parent company, PCSG. Most recently she has been focussing on work associated with the Golf Environment Organisation and with Ben Ainslie Racing’s Americas Cup Campaign.
Emily Little graduated from the University of Southampton in 2012 with an MSc in Environmental Monitoring and Assessment. Since leaving university, Emily worked for 2 years for the Environment Agency, while there, she took part in flood relief on the Somerset Levels, regulated farms and water companies and consulted on planning applications. Emily's recent work for E2O has focussed on sustainability projects for Ben Ainslie Racing and the Golf Environment Organisation. Her expertise lie in Environmental Management Systems, environmental legislation and bid writing.
William Yonge is a strategic thinker who always strives for innovative solutions to problems while never compromising the core values of the client. Passionate about sustainability and environmental responsibility, William is well acquainted with achieving ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 certifications and is an experienced auditor. William is also an IEMA Registered trainer, making him a valuable asset to any establishment in need of professional sustainability assistance and increased levels of staff awareness and participation in corporate environmental goals.
Barbara Rinkel has a degree in Environmental Science, a PhD in Biological Sciences and five years’ experience as an environmental research scientist in the US, she is also an experienced project manager, who combines an innate talent for organising with a warm and calm approach. Combined with her professional training and knowledge of environmental issues, this ensures that she is a highly valued member of our team. Barbara's specialisms are training and ecological surveys.
Thibaud Audureau recently graduated with a Masters degree in biotechnology from Sup’Biotech in his homeland of France. Thibaud, who is fluent in French and English, attacks every assignment in the same precise, ordered way. He excels at marshalling large volumes of information and identifying the relevant material before producing clear, fluent prose which exactly reflects the client’s requirements.
